COVID Safe Plan

As a former research scientist (who used to work with viruses), your health the health of your guests and my own health are all very important to me.


Physical Distancing

  • All meeting will be conducted over the phone or via zoom.

  • During photography, the 1.5 metre physical distancing rule will be followed.

  • Shoots are limited to a maximum of 9 people (this includes other vendors such as videographer and celebrant).

  • No group shots (ie everybody) will be permitted.

  • Outdoor locations for ceremony and portraits to be used where possible.

  • The photographer will not be able to assist clients or guests with any getting ready tasks (ie the pinning of buttonhole flowers to jackets, putting on a flower crown etc).


Face Masks

  • A facemask will be worn by the photographer for the entire shoot.

  • The facemask will either be a new or clean mask each day.

  • Clients should wear face masks to and from the session (unless they have a medical exemption or are not required by law to wear one)


Hygiene

  • All equipment used during the photo shoot will be cleaned and sanitised before and after the shoo.t

  • Client/s and guests are not to handle any of the photographers equipment.

  • Photographer will not be able to handle/carry/store any of the client’s personal belongings (ie key, phone, face masks, drink bottle, snacks etc)

  • Photographer will sanitise her hands before beginning the shoot and will regularly take short breaks throughout the session to re sanitise hands.

  • Hand sanitiser will be carried by the photographer. Clients are welcome to use the photographers sanitiser too.


Health

  • If I am feeling unwell, I will self isolate and get tested immediately.

  • If I am suspected and/or confirmed as having covid 19 prior to your wedding I will organise another photographer to photograph your wedding in my place.

  • If you or your partner are feeling unwell, we will postpone until you are both well enough for the wedding to proceed.

  • If one of your guests is not feeling well they should not attend the wedding.


Record keeping

  • Records of all shoots will be kept including contact details of clients and any other supplier involved.

  • Photographer has installed the COVIDsafe app on their phone which they will have on them at all times during the session. The COVIDsafe ap is updated weekly and again the day of your event.

  • If in the event the Photographer becomes unwell within the 14 days of the event, photographer will be tested immediate. Photographer will also contact any couples and suppliers to inform them that I am being tested. Photographer will also advise clients and suppliers of the test results.

  • If COVID positive Photographer will also immediately inform DHHS and Worksafe.


Closed Spaces

  • Outdoor locations for all sessions to be used where possible.

  • If session is occurring indoors, as many doors and windows should be open to enhance airflow. Density requirements should also be adhered to.

  • Clients can not travel in photographers car between locations.


Not feeling well and have flu-like symptoms? Thats okay, please just let me know and we will work together to find a new date.

In the event I were unable to attend your wedding due to the virus or the need to isolate, I have a network of amazing photographers that I would call upon to replace me on the day. All post-production will be done by me, so the final product would be consistent with my current work.
